Etsy Goodness: Bohemian Textiles

Hmong woman in market via flickr
Lately, I'm finding myself drawn to bright colors and intricate design.  I've always loved bohemian style, so when I found KulshiMumkin's shop on Etsy, I was blown away.  Kai makes the most beautiful bags and crafts with vintage textiles, beads and trim made by the Hmong tribe people of Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China.  It's hard to pick a favorite, as each and every piece is different and unique.

Love the red tassles

Colorful accents make this bag special
Handmade boots
Velvet accents add a nice touch of bohemian flare

In The Closet: Nanette Lepore

Fall 2011
In keeping with my "what's in your bag" voyeuristic nature, I also love to peek inside the stylish closets of the rich and famous.  Fashion designer Nanette Lepore's does not disappoint.  There's so much to love in there, from the gorgeous Chinese Art Deco rug, to the tufted teal oversize ottoman, mirrored chest of drawers and leopard print chair.  Not to mention the glimpses of beautiful clothing hanging from the racks.

A style chameleon, Ms.Ritchie's looks change according to her mood.  Love that!
