I recently discovered (which probably means it's been around forever!) an amazingly fun and addicting website called "the glitter guide.com."  It has so much inspiration, from personal style bios to food and recipe ideas, design news, travel, decor, and more.  I especially love their "Glitter Girl" pieces where they profile stylish bloggers and share a peek into their home, wardrobe, inspirations, business advice and overall style.  Love!

Here is a great article about "30 things you can start doing for yourself".  Some are big, some are small, but all are things that will inspire you to start the year off fresh and take your life in a positive direction!

Winter Fun List

This time of year seems to go by pretty quickly for all of us.  Make sure you take out time to breathe, relax, and enjoy the season!  Here are some fun ideas, try at least one or try them all...

• make peppermint bark
• act like a kid and roll around in a pile of leaves
• make a gingerbread house
• volunteer
• make hot chocolate and put tiny marshmallows on top!
• be someone's secret santa
• go in the hot tub when it's super cold
• get in the car and look at Christmas lights
• read by the fire
• turn off all the lights and do everything by candle light
• take a nature walk
• go ice skating
• build a snow man
• buy a new pair of really warm long johns
• on a rainy day, go to a museum and enjoy a lazy day
• take a long, hot bath
• pop some corn and watch a marathon of favorite Christmas movies
• make ornaments
• kiss under the mistletoe

Designer Love: Kishani Perera

I am in love with L.A. designer Kishani Perera's interior designs!  Layers upon layers of mixed prints and bold color and a glamorous art deco/bohemian aesthetic make her one of my all time faves.  Her interiors look glamorous yet comfortable and accessible, and her use of wood and neutrals play well with all of the pattern mixing.
